French legend Thierry is not keen to succeed Corinne Diacre as the France women’s national team gaffer.

France are looking to move swiftly to appoint the next manager to keep their FIFA Women’s World Cup scheduled for July.

Earlier reports seemed to suggest Thierry is considered ‘an interesting option’ for the vacant post of manager. A member of the committee tasked to recommend names to the president, Aulas, also confirmed Thierry was in the frame with the Frenchman said to be “flattered” by the interest shown in him by the French.

Jean-Michel Aulas told Le Figaro,  “I personnally asked him about it. His answer was not affirmative.”

Henry is said to have his eyes on other projects.
