Stina Blackstenius scored one and assisted another as she starred in Arsenal’s win over Liverpool.
Blackstenius opened the scoring after calmly controlling the ball with her chest before creating enough space to finish past Liverpool keeper Rachel Laws.
Rachel Laws made a string of fine saves in the match but was helpless to deny Arsenal their second six minutes after the first goal .
Blackstenius turned provider for the second goal when her shot was parried by Liverpool keeper Rachel Laws for Caitlin Foord to head in the second. The victory kept the Gunners fourth on the log with 29 points.
Liverpool’s misery on the road continues as they remain eighth on the log.
