Brazil will look to pile more misery on Canada when the two teams square off in the second and final match of matchday two doubleheader in Nashville.

Having emerged unscathed against youthful Japan in the first match in which Brazil punished the former courtesy of a 72nd minute strike which saw dynamic duo of Debinha and Marta combined for the game’s only goal, Brazil will be looking to build on from that victory.

Canada enjoy a slight 11 wins, 10 defeats and 7 draws edge over Brazil in the all-time series and Sunday’s match at Geodis Park is a meeting of familiar foes.

Kailen Sheridan, who was forced to make a save just seconds after a kickoff and numerous others against USWNT, will be expected to keep her place in goal going into the second match.

Janine Beckie, who forced an excellent save from Alyssa Naeher just before the break on Thursday, is hoping to start against Brazil having impressed against USA. Also Jordyn Huitema, who forced another top-drawer save from Naeher in the 74th minute, is expected to keep her place.
