The French Football Federation releases brief statement amid mass player resignation

The French Football Federation has released a brief statement in response to the mass player resignation that has hit the women’s football barely four and a half months before the Women’s World Cup.

The statement reads, “The FFF would like to remind everybody, that no individual is above the institution of the French team.”

The French football fraternity has been plunged into crisis following resignation by three high-profile players in captain and defender Wendie Renard, strikers Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani with players stating conditions are ‘far from the requirements required by the highest level.
