Real Madrid have announced the signing of 18-year-old striker Linda Caicedo from Colombia.
The hotshot arrives from Deportivo Cali where she has been since 2020. Despite being only 18 years old Linda is a league champion in Colombia, a competition she has already won twice, first with América de Cali at the age of 14 and in 2021 with Deportivo Cali. Already capped with the senior national team, Caicedo was voted player of the tournament at the 2022 Copa America. The striker also won the silver ball at the U-17 World Cup in 2022.
